Opportunities for student intern positions with Weather Forecast Offices (WFOs) located in Western Region and at NCEP in College Park, Md.

The NWS is pleased to announce that the latest batch of student positions under NOAA’s Pathways Program — with Weather Forecast Offices (WFOs) located in Western Region and at NCEP in College Park, Md.— have been reposted on USAjobs.gov, with four additional positions now available, bringing the total number with this batch to 13.

There was a problem with the closing date the first time these vacancies were posted, and this announcement corrects the previous error and includes four additional vacancies. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain valuable experience in a National Weather Service office and help build a Weather-Ready Nation. Please help us spread the word to students. If you know of someone who would be interested in this program, please let them know, but hurry -- the positions close December 19.
