Landis Gift Names Broadcast Room in Myers Weather Center

Bob ('63) and Charlotte Landis have a long history of engagement with students and alumni in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences and in the Department of Meteorology.  Thus, we were very pleased to learn that they would be naming the Broadcast Room in the Joel N. Myers Weather Center.  Their name is the first to go on an individual room within the Weather Center facility.  The Bob and Charlotte Landis Broadcast Room offers students a forum to practice their broadcasting and forecasting skills as well as provide them with the mechanism to deliver clear and professional quality broadcasts that Campus Weather Service radio clients can disseminate over the airwaves.
