- B.S. in Meteorology (Atmospheric Science option), The Pennsylvania State University - 2015
I typically go by my middle name, Alex, instead of George - it's what my family's called me since I was born. However, I don't mind being addressed as George either, and from a professional standpoint that's probably the easier thing to do for the sake of avoiding confusion.
I was born and raised in New Jersey, and spent most of my life in Marlboro, NJ before going to college. I'm a graduate of Colts Neck High School in Colts Neck, NJ, and more recently, of The Pennsylvania State University, where I obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Meteorology, more specifically the Atmospheric Science option.
I've been passionate about weather and weather-related topics for pretty much my entire life, which began when I saw a tornado while at a family friend's home in New Jersey at age 6. Though I'm still fascinated by tornadoes and other severe weather, my interests from an academic perspective center on Physical Meteorology topics such as cloud physics and radiative transfer.
