The Ken Reeves Memorial Weather Briefings occur weekly on Thursdays at 12:30 PM in the Joel N. Myers Weather Center on the 6th floor of Walker Building.
These briefings are a great way to keep up with the past, current, and future weather with the scientific explanations behind it all. Everyone is invited to attend and only basic meteorological backgrounds are assumed. The briefings offer more detail than you would receive in a standard television/online weathercast, but the talks are informal and questions/commentary are invited and welcomed.
Rich Grumm will be presenting on Thursday, April 30. Rich is the Science and Operations Officer for the National Weather Service here in State College.
