This semester the Ken Reeves Memorial Weather Briefings will continue on
Thursdays at 12:30 PM in the Joel N. Myers Weather Center on the 6th
floor of Walker. For those of you who are new or unfamiliar these
briefings are a great way to keep up with the past, current, and future
weather with the scientific explanations behind it all. Everyone is
invited to attend and only basic meteorological backgrounds are assumed.
The briefings offer more detail than you would receive in a standard
television/online weathercast, but the talks are informal and
questions/commentary are invited and welcomed. Our first briefing will
take place this Thursday (1/29/15) at 12:30 PM with Jase Bernhardt
presenting. Jase received his B.S. in Meteorology from Cornell
University in 2011 and is an active weather enthusiast. He volunteers
for the Department of Meteorology as a forecaster/broadcaster for
Weather World. Date/Time: Thursday (1/29) at 12:30 PM. Place: Joel N.
