Alumnus Edward Mansouri ('95 Meteo) is CEO and Founder of WeatherSTEM by UCompass.com, Inc.  WeatherSTEM develops interactive K-12 STEM curriculum with a heavy focus on the atmospheric sciences and agriculture.  The curriculum activities are powered by live data derived from school-based scientific instruments and sensors - the WeatherSTEM unit.

Ed is donating a WeatherSTEM unit to Penn State that will be installed at The Arboretum on Wednesday October 22 at 2pm. The WeatherSTEM unit includes meteorological and agricultural instrumentation, plus a cloud camera. President Barron will be attending the dedication/installation of the unit.

Also during his visit to campus, Edward Mansouri will be giving an informal presentation in the Myers Weather Center to talk about WeatherSTEM as well as other developing career opportunities in Meteorology.
