Responsibilities

• Package and prepare metadata in intermediate and standard formats to support data ingest and discovery.
• Develop scripts to extend or improve the automation of operational processes and support others in their roles.
• Coordinate with DAAC Data Product Teams and external data producers to establish data transfers and data ingest.
• Review and test data interoperability with targeted services and tools.
• Develop training materials on QA/QC processes and lead presentations about the processes to internal and external partners.
• Engage with science teams, data providers, and other data managers about data flows into and out of our systems.

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Two years of experience in data management or metadata curation.
